Antiquity is a complex strategy board game for 2–4 players set in a world inspired by late medieval Italy. Players build and expand their own civilization while pursuing unique victory conditions based on the patron saint they choose.
Each saint offers a completely different path to victory—whether through population growth, trade, conquest, or city development. This creates a highly variable gameplay experience where each strategy requires careful planning and adaptation.
As your cities grow and your economy becomes more advanced, new opportunities open up every turn. However, the land surrounding your cities is gradually depleted, forcing you to expand further in search of resources.
Managing growth while dealing with environmental decay is the key challenge. Players must balance expansion and sustainability, hoping to achieve victory before resources run out entirely.
This 4th print run is a reprint of the 3rd edition, featuring the same rules and components, with improved cardboard quality.
