Step into the boots of an American battalion commander (Lieutenant Colonel) in Battalion Commander: Solitaire Europe WWII, a tactical solo card game set in the European theater of World War II.

Command four distinct companies (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta) as they deploy platoons to seize fortified enemy objectives. To achieve victory, you must combine arms effectively—balancing infantry, machine gun teams, reconnaissance, and command abilities—while managing the inherent chaos and friction of battle.

Your hand serves as your staging area, representing units currently in direct communication. On your turn, play battalion cards into tactical attack sequences, discard cards to execute powerful specialized support abilities (such as recon reordering or command flexibilities), or flush your hand to re-establish broken lines. Manage incoming enemy fire and command disruptions wisely: if the draw deck runs dry before all objectives are secured, enemy reinforcements arrive and your offensive fails.
