In Don't Go In There, you play as a group of curious kids exploring a creepy haunted house. Unfortunately, your curiosity has awakened an evil presence, and now you'll need to break the curse and escape with your sanity intact.
The game combines push-your-luck decisions with set collection. As you explore the haunted house, you'll need to decide how far to venture into each room. Going deeper improves your chances of finding the cards you need, but also increases the risk of attracting ghosts.
On each turn, players place a token in one of the haunted house rooms. When a room fills up, ghost dice are rolled and players gain ghost tokens based on the risks they took. Cards are then claimed according to how deep each player ventured into the room.
Collecting the right items allows you to remove curses, but at the end of the game the player with the most ghost tokens becomes possessed and gains additional curses. The player with the fewest curses wins.
One of the game's most distinctive features is its packaging, which unfolds into a themed haunted-house dice tower used throughout the game.
