Deep in the tropical jungle west of the Everdell Valley lies Emerland, a vibrant land known for its artistic and musical culture and its abundance of natural resources. Valuable gems are mined from its many underground caverns, while tiny critters—mostly insects—serve as fastidious and clever Helpers, assisting larger critters with their work and helping optimize or beautify their cities and homes.
The jungles are vast and dense, and expeditions into the further reaches of Emerland are common. A mysterious civilization once lived here, but it has long been lost to history. Now, archaeological discoveries are beginning to shed light on the secrets of the ancients.
In Emerland, you send your critter Workers to various locations on the board to gather resources. You then use these resources to play cards face-up in front of you, building your jungle city and earning points. Each turn, you choose one of 6 possible actions: Place a Worker with or without Helpers, Place a Helper, Play a Card, Use an Artisan Card, Excavate with your Archaeologist, or Prepare for Season.
Gather your Workers and Helpers, explore the jungle, harvest plentiful resources, mine precious gems, trade goods at the River Market, explore uncharted realms, and build and upgrade your own city. Guide your brave Archaeologist in the search for valuable artifacts and the ancient lost ruins.
The latest standalone game in the Everdell: Edge of the Map series, Emerland rewards explorers with enchanting adventures, breathtaking beauty, exquisite treasures, and the thrill of discovery.
