Formaggio is a standalone expansion for Fromage that can be played on its own or mixed with the base game for expanded replayability and strategic variety.

Players once again take on the role of Italian cheesemakers in a simultaneous worker-placement game where everyone takes their turns at the same time. This streamlined system delivers a rich Euro-style experience in around 40 minutes.

The expansion introduces four new board quadrants, each featuring a unique puzzle:

• pair cheeses with wines at the Vigneto,
• sell cheese to restaurants along the Venetian canals,
• distribute cheese throughout the regions of Italy,
• deposit cheese in the Banca, inspired by a real Italian bank that accepts cheese as collateral.

Formaggio also adds platinum-tier cheeses, seasonal rewards, and all-new player board and structure abilities, creating fresh strategic possibilities whether played alone or combined with the original game.
