Le Chocolat is a strategy game in which players divide a chocolate bar and claim the flavors that will earn them the most points.
At the start of the game, 36 chocolate tiles are shuffled and arranged into a grid. On each turn, a player splits the chocolate bar into two sections using a straight line.
Whenever a section of three or fewer tiles remains at the end of a player's turn, that player claims the entire section.
Play continues until every chocolate tile has been claimed. Scoring is determined by a scoring card that changes each game, rewarding players who collect the best flavor combinations while avoiding negative ingredients. The player with the most points wins.
