The legend continues with North Africa '40, the prequel expansion to North Africa '41 utilizing GMT Games' acclaimed ZOC Bond System. Designed by Mark Simonitch, Arthur Dieterly, and Fred Thomas, this expansion covers the North African theater from September 1940 through December 1941.
Scenarios detail both Operazione E (the Italian invasion of Egypt; 12 turns) and the Allied counter-offensive, Operation Compass (6 turns). Both can be extended into massive full campaigns lasting through December 1941 (Operazione E full campaign: 32 turns; Operation Compass full campaign: 26 turns).
New historical rules reflect the nuances of the 1940 campaign: General O’Connor, Italian Camps, Civilian Evacuees/Stragglers, Tank Reliability, Italian Saharan Forces, Libyan Tank Command, Sollum Port, and Post-Operation Compass Refits.
Note: Published in a Ziplock bag format. Requires the base game North Africa '41 to play.
