Stonesaga is a cooperative, campaign-style survival crafting board game set in a unique, persistent world shaped by your choices. You unfold the story of the people of a remote glacial valley, guiding multiple generations of characters who build a life there amid harsh conditions, wondrous mysteries, and giant monsters.

Each game session covers one generation within the society, continuing from the previous one and permanently changing the valley in various ways based on in-game events and player decisions. Designed for drop-in, drop-out play and flexible playgroup availability, Stonesaga can be played by one group from start to finish, with a rotating cast of players, or passed seamlessly between different groups.

Some components may be permanently altered during the game, but they are never completely removed or discarded.

Stonesaga follows a distinct rhythm. When the people of the valley face a new opportunity or crisis, they must respond to the changing needs of their society. Meanwhile, the valley's other inhabitants – immortal beasts – pursue their own needs according to their instincts. You will need to navigate both sets of challenges, using might, dexterity, conviction, and awareness to survive as a tribe in the wild.

Stonesaga introduces a completely new discovery-based crafting mechanic. Do you think a sharpened stone and a stick could be combined to create a spear? Use the crafting action and find out.

As you expand your knowledge of crafting “recipes”, you will discover the properties of different crafting materials. Work together as a community to build your village, starting with a simple fire pit and tent and eventually creating a forge and library. Build a civilization that can last for generations.
