Timespan is a streamlined, accessible, and highly varied civilization board game from the acclaimed designers of Automania and Bad Company.

Combine one of six asymmetric civilizations with one of six unique technology boards, and further customize your empire by recruiting among 175 historical persons, structures, inventions, and world wonders. A key highlight of Timespan is its player pacing: large portions of each round are played simultaneously, eliminating downtime so you can guide your civilization from the Stone Age all the way to the Space Age in under 2 hours (approx. 90 minutes)!

Played across 5 rounds split into exploration and simultaneous action phases, players draft cards, navigate trade routes, and place workers on their timeline. Advance along culture, science, and space tracks to unlock luxury resources, upgrade card effects, and secure passive heritage bonuses. With zero direct combat, Timespan centers purely on peaceful empire development, exploration, and engine-building.
