Wondrous Creatures: Winterfall is an expansion set five years after the events of the base game. Captain Freya has grown into a capable young leader, bringing evolved abilities into the adventure.

Set during a long and harsh winter on Starbeak Island, the expansion introduces blizzards, auroras, and other changing weather effects that transform the main board. Some spaces provide powerful bonuses, while others may disrupt Habitats and create new tactical challenges.

Winterfall also introduces the mysterious Spirits, a new species that appears during winter and interacts uniquely with weather effects. The expansion further expands the game with new Creature cards, additional Captains, Achievements, and more content for added variety and replayability.

The base game Wondrous Creatures is required to play.
